This document is the first part of a two-part project designed to develop methods for determining the occupational math requirements of specific jobs and for determining the math skills possessed by individuals who may wish to enter those jobs. The tools developed as a result of the project can be used to assist in developing vocational-technical education programs and training programs in business and industry.
