This monograph contains a continuing case study follow-up of two groups of beginning vocational teachers; data from nominal group technique sessions with samples of beginning teachers throughout the U.S.; findings from a national survey of first-year vocational teachers for year 1989-1990; and results of a national examination of exemplary induction assistance programs. This is a companion piece to MDS-018, On Becoming a Teacher: Vocational Education and the Induction Process.
