This monograph describes five exemplary programs identified during TASPP's 1990 National Recognition Program for Exemplary Vocational Education Programs Serving Special Needs Populations. The program's strongest components are highlighted, and a discussion of commonalities and significant features is included. The mechanics of the search and the framework for identifying exemplary programs are included in the introduction.
