Factors that Influence the Academic and Vocational Development of African American and Latino Youth

This report contains information about the factors to which high academic achieving African American and Latino college and university students attribute their vocational and academic development. It contains data derived from in-depth interviews with thirty-six students. The results of this project will benefit teachers, counselors, parents, and representatives of community groups that are involved in activities designed to enhance the vocational and academic development of minority youth.
