While other fields at the secondary level have embraced national curriculum standards, school-to-work programs continue to vary widely in content and methodology. This guidebook provides practitioners with a wealth of information to use in examining, adapting, and creating curriculum. Content, instruction, student assessment, and equity and diversity standards are presented, together with examples that show how curriculum for various subjects can be designed to meet these criteria. The National Consortium for Product Quality, which developed the guidebook, works both to promote curriculum standards and to create a national review process by which exemplary curriculum can be recognized and disseminated. This document will be helpful to administrators, curriculum development teams and instructors, education/business partnerships, and policymakers.
