Federal Legislation Links

The NCRVE page of links to online sources for major vocational 
education legislation and related resources at

information on the Carl D. Perkins Vocational-Technical Education 
Act of 1998, passed by Congress in October.

VOCNET AND DISSMN8

VOCNET, NCRVE's listserv discussion list for all voc ed topics, currently 
has about 1,520 subscribers, up 1% from 1 October. Approximately 190 items 
were posted in October-November. 

DISSMN8, NCRVE's listserv discussion list for educational dissemination–
related topics, now boasts 186 subscribers, down 1% from 1 October.  

Both VOCNET and DISSMN8 will be moving to a new server early in 1999; 
details have yet to be worked out.  The change should cause no disruption
in these services.  Subscribers will receive news as the schedule for the
move is finalized.
