This center houses one of the largest collections of catalogued items in applied technology, applied academics, and teacher/trainer development. This includes textbooks, curriculum guides, audio-visual materials, task lists, brochures, newsletters and periodicals. The catalog is searchable online by author, title or subject. This is an excellent place to find out what curriculum materials exist for any given vocational topic.

MAVCC was formerly the Mid-America Vocational Curriculum Consortium when it served only 10 states. Now it has national scope, and member states receive discounts on the purchase of materials. Its catalog is available online in Adobe Acrobat format, but each section is quite large and takes several minutes to download. The site also includes downloadable task lists (also in Acrobat format) and an exellent page of Web links organized by vocational topic area.
