A Guide to Assess Institutional Excellence in Vocational Education

Wardlow, Swanson, and Migler (MDS-174) implemented a naturalistic study to identify the key institutional factors that contributed to excellence in fourteen exemplary institutions offering vocational education programs. This project is built upon previous studies, developing and testing an instrument to serve as a guide for institutional decisionmakers who seek to improve their institutions. As a result of this effort, a quantitative instrument was developed and field tested and found to possess both face and content validity.
