Community College Involvement in Contract Training and Other Economic Development Activities

Although contract training and other activities related to economic development have been widely promoted in community colleges and technical institutes, little is known about the magnitude of such efforts. In a first attempt to assess the scope and nature of these activities, the American Association of Community and Junior Colleges, in conjunction with NCRVE, undertook a national survey of its member institutions. This report presents the major findings of this survey.
