Sharing State Practices

Sharing State Practices is a compilation of efforts at the state level to improve student achievement in both vocational education as well as education and workforce development generally. The information on this page is an on-line version of the NCRVE publication (MDS-1206) Taking Off! Sharing State-level Accountability Strategies, Using Academic and Vocational Accountability Strategies to Improve Student Achievement.
After the Introduction, each of the following sections includes examples from various states to give you ideas of how policymakers, administrators, and practitioners have approached these issues given their own state context and priorities for improving student achievement.

The Resource section includes forms for you to submit a practice from your own state. We welcome all submissions, so if you have an idea that you would like to share, please let us know!
